This Privacy Policy describes how International Design LLC ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Glimpse mobile application ("the App").
Camera and Microphone Data: Glimpse accesses your device camera and microphone to provide real-time AI vision and voice assistant functionality. Video frames and audio are streamed directly to third-party AI services (Google Gemini) for processing and are not stored on our servers.
Saved Memories: When you ask Glimpse to "remember" something, the text is saved on your device and in your Glimpse account (Google Firebase), so it is kept if you reinstall the App. At the start of each session your saved memories are sent to Google Gemini so the assistant can use them. To delete your saved memories, contact us.
Photos and Videos From Smart Glasses: If you use Glimpse with compatible smart glasses, you can import photos, videos, and audio notes that the glasses recorded. The transfer happens directly between your glasses and your phone over a local Wi-Fi connection that the glasses create. These files never pass through our servers and we never receive them. Imported photos and videos are saved into your own iOS photo library. Glimpse keeps only a small thumbnail and the file name on your device so it can show you a list of what was imported, and you can delete that list at any time inside the app. By default the copy on the glasses is deleted once the file is safely stored on your phone, which you can turn off in the app.
Photo Library Access: Glimpse requests permission to add photos and videos to your library. It does not request permission to read or browse your library, and it cannot see the photos that are already there.
Face Memory (Biometric Data): If you ask Glimpse to remember a person, it stores a cropped photo of that person's face together with the name you gave, on your device. We treat these face photos as biometric data. They are not uploaded to our servers or synced to your account. So that Glimpse can recognize these people, up to eight saved face photos and their names are sent to Google Gemini at the start of each session that uses the camera. Google processes them to provide the service under its own terms, and we do not keep a copy. You can delete all saved faces in the App under Settings, Remembered People. This removes them from your device, and they are no longer sent.
Location Data: If you grant permission, Glimpse uses your location to answer questions about where you are and to give you spoken directions. Location is used at the moment you ask and is not stored by us.
People Other Than You: Cameras on a phone or on glasses can capture people nearby. Glimpse does not identify anyone except the people you explicitly ask it to remember. Their face photos are kept on your device and are sent to Google Gemini only during your own sessions, so it can recognize them. You are responsible for following the laws and expectations that apply where you are recording.
Calendar Data: If you grant permission, Glimpse reads your calendar events to provide schedule information by voice. Calendar data is processed on-device and is not transmitted externally except as part of AI processing context.
Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your name and email address through Apple Sign In. We use Firebase Authentication and Firestore for account management.
Usage Data: The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used, for example when it is opened, when sessions start, when you reach the daily free limit, when the subscription screen is shown, and when a purchase or restore starts or completes, including the price shown. These events come with your device model, iOS version, App version, and an identifier for this installation. Firebase also derives an approximate location (country and region) from your IP address. These events are not linked to your name, email address, or account. We do not use the advertising identifier, and we do not use this data for advertising.
Crash Data: If the App crashes or freezes, a short technical report is kept on your device. Only a brief crash signature is sent along with the usage data above, never your conversations or camera images.
Subscription Data: Purchase and subscription information is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store payment details.

Saved memories are kept on your device and in your account until you ask us to delete them or you delete your account. Face memory persists on your device until you delete it in Settings or uninstall the App. Memories and face photos sent to Google Gemini during a session are processed by Google under its own terms and are not stored by us. Media imported from smart glasses is saved to your photo library and stays there under your control, and the record Glimpse keeps of those imports lives on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App. Audio notes and any files your photo library cannot hold remain inside the App and are removed when you delete them or uninstall. Account data is retained as long as you maintain an active account. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us.
Glimpse is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from someone under 16, we will take steps to delete it.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and Japan, where our third-party service providers operate. By using Glimpse, you consent to these transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
