What do I need to use Glimpse?

An iPhone running iOS 17 or later. For glasses mode, you also need Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses paired via the Meta View app. Phone mode works on any iPhone with a camera.

How do I connect my Meta Ray-Ban glasses?

First pair your glasses using the official Meta View app. Then open Glimpse and select "Glasses Mode". Glimpse will connect to your glasses automatically through the Meta SDK.

Is my data stored or shared?

Audio and video are streamed in real-time to AI services for processing and are not permanently stored. Memories you save are stored locally on your device only. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How does the free tier work?

Free users get 2 minutes of AI interaction per day. The timer resets at midnight. Upgrade to Glimpse Pro for 40 minutes per day.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select Glimpse Pro, and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's Report a Problem page. See our Refund Policy for more details.

How does emergency detection work?

Glimpse listens for distress phrases and can automatically initiate an emergency call. This is a convenience feature and should not replace a dedicated emergency response system. You can set your emergency contact in the app's settings.

The app isn't responding to my voice. What should I do?

Make sure Glimpse has microphone permission (iPhone Settings > Glimpse > Microphone). Try disconnecting and reconnecting. Check that your internet connection is stable, as Glimpse requires an active connection for AI processing.
